The decision to have Chetla as the only concern of the Papal conclave was not meant to be a provocation.

Through meticulous planning and guile, an individual has risen in the world whose identity was not clearly defined. Who was Antara could be answered only when everyone knew who Chetla was, what she represented, what was the reason for her popularity.

The Hindu nationalist Indian Govt adored Chetla. It was unlikely that Chetla, since her childhood, had ever been part of any Hindu religious activity.

Chetla herself adored India's neighbouring Islamic countries. However, she thought little of the histories and identities of the Muslims of the Middle East.

Chetla was at loggerheads with prominent Christian groups.

Communists and self-professed atheists never assumed the unusual profile and indomitable power that Chetla had acquired for herself, without any achievement except immigrating to the US. 

It would be significant if the Vatican chose to ignore the advice to focus on her, it knew where the advice was coming from. The suggestion was based on a simple logic: if all religions didn't agree on the relevance of further research on the Nazi Holocaust, then the results of that research couldn't be used to improve public safety.

It was not a perfect system though; all religions had gathered in Chicago for the World Parliament of Religions in 1893 and yet the series of events, 1890s onward, that would eventually lead to the Nazi Holocaust, couldn't be prevented.

A Conclave that didn't consider the ongoing crises of the world except urging for peace would not prove to be an effective institution.

ii. Europeans didn't publicly comment on the lease nor would they do so anytime in the near future. This was because they knew the problem with the lease: it was an American lease. America, as we know, was peopled with those from the European continent. Thus, those that had a problem with an American lease also had a problem with Europe.

You couldn't work for a Belgian company, professing admiration for Europe or travel all over Europe and enjoy the experience and then fight ferociously against an American lease. Europeans and Americans were the same people. 

Alamo Girl and Prominent Personality would have to change their arguments.
