Hitler was apparently meant to be a temporary Chancellor, at least from 1933 to 1939, advocating his noxious views about the supremacy of the Aryan race, a greater German destiny and revulsion for the Jews.
The problem in being a temporary Chancellor was that the administrative work was not cut out for that person: do whatever you were good at. Well, rabble-rousing, incendiary speeches and some ill-thought military campaigns seemed to be Hitler's expertise. He also kept playing with a vulnerable group, who were known for their high savings and ought to have been able to buy their way out of their misery.
Hitler was allowed to wear a military uniform and things started going wrong: he had been in the military, had a bearing, had fought in a World War, what if he started looking like a real Chancellor?
Thus, it fell to those around him to listen intently to Washington DC, try and gauge its intentions, keep the focus on the imminent war and conquest and provide the Third Reich no other characteristic but that of a waiting room. The Germans waiting to go to war, the Jews relocated to ghettos, waiting to perish in the death camps.
Why was Washington DC so fond of waiting rooms? In Hitler's case, he turned out to be the worst of the war criminals, reviled even by his colleagues, meeting his end by his own hands, with not an ally, in a socio-political-military strata he inhabited alone.
Antara was kind and generous, loved society, cared for her husband, neither wanted to preach nor start a cult, forget conquering territories. Was that the reason to suddenly break up her marriage, else she'd always have a partner, some in-laws, a few acquaintances, she'd never be alone?
Who was outraging on behalf of the Beleghata honcho? What Third Reich problem would be solved in New Delhi if Antara's marriage broke up?
