Was the Agency involved in Iran?

The following was purportedly going around as the Agency version of what happened in Iran.

"These things have been planned over decades, it was always connected to Antara's torture-surveillance. Antara would manage to visit Kolkata several times after a personal tragedy (Supriya Paul's death in 2024), the Pentagon would be exultant that she was breaking free when the Iran nuclear facilities would be hit by the US, as a warning from the Agency, not to allow Antara further freedom.

We still remember Chetla laughing about it. 'I'm telling you Agency, those dunderheads at the Pentagon would not be able to figure out when to stop. You'd probably have to sprain Antara's lower back, cripple her, to make her understand how undesirable she was in Kolkata and Batanagar.'"

ii. The Agency considered the action against Iran as part of the Prussian lease. "You have to understand that the Prussians were never comfortable about any DoJ action against Organised Crime. Such attempts were made by the DoJ, in cities like Buffalo etc, in the 1960s, which would imply that the Prussians would be on the prowl to take revenge against the US Govt. An opportunity came our way, it was called Supriya Paul.

Was the late 1960s a great time to work against Communism or against artistic personalities in Kolkata who were involved in anti-Vietnam War protests? Who led Supriya down such a path? Several of those Kolkata-based theatre personalities had friends in Delaware, political careers had to be launched in DC to control the damage, for it would lead back to the Nazi Holocaust. Was it a great idea to let people find out that a genocide was undertaken against the Jews in the 1940s merely for Communists to control worldwide Organised Crime networks?

Supriya lived with that knowledge, she used it to strengthen those around her, she used it to provide a marriage to Antara. Oh, the Vietnam War was a lengthy war for the US, Supriya, there were enough Marines willing to divulge who was working against the Kolkata theatre personalities. The Prussians had to just sit back and watch Antara gradually make her way towards that Batanagar family, knowing they'd get their revenge for DoJ action in Buffalo in the late 1960s.

Those around Supriya, with Tripura connections, had been empowered with that information against her right from the 1970s. 

If they didn't want Antara and her spouse to visit Batanagar in 2025, shouldn't they have the right to do so? They represented the Delaware politicians, they represented Kolkata's theatre scene, they represented those who resented action against Organised Crime. By crippling Antara, Chetla was merely discussing theatre, Vietnam War, Nazi Holocaust etc. 

We could have got the message across, never step out of Delhi again, in various ways. But Chetla suggested bunker-busting Iran's nuclear facilities, 'Let's wrap it up as Middle East geopolitics and then see the intellectual explanations that came forth'."
