In such circumstances, you could use weaponry-related information to introduce currency-related intelligence among the masses.
All wives would have such information, any random female, if she felt ignored or upset, could immediately introduce currency-related instability. That was the kind of 'female empowerment' our Seemay approved of.
Antara could almost see those eager faces gathered around Seemay in the newsroom, Seemay holding forth, "Yes, all of you could do it, destroy the global financial markets". If you didn't know how to write or edit copies but were in a newsroom, that was how Seemay empowered you.
v. What kind of financial intelligence was the defence firms sharing with Indian wives? It was quite easy to understand. When in the US, always hold some dirham (UAE) or riyal (Saudi Arabia). When the US dollar collapsed, American shops would easily sell food and groceries in exchange for Middle Eastern currencies, because of the latter's petroleum reserves.
