Banking stories: New Deal, railroad, Pacific

One of the anecdotes Antara often recounted about her father was how he had dropped out of school after his mother (Pratibha) passed away in 1946.

Ajit would leave home in the morning but he never turned up at school, his cousins (AT's sons) went to a different school and didn't know about Ajit's whereabouts. Ajit played around by himself, he had the tiffin money BT gave him so he was never hungry. He came home around the time school ended, no one knew he hadn't been to school at all.

Apparently, the school relocated to a different neighbourhood in the midst of it, Ajit didn't know about it, he was walking past when one of the schoolteachers noticed him from the classroom window, he instructed the boys, "Some of you go and grab Ajit, there he was, he hasn't been coming to school since his mother passed away."

"To that schoolmaster, I owed everything in my life," Ajit would later say. "Else, I'd become a vagabond, a wastrel." 

Anjali often didn't believe these anecdotes but they meant everything to Antara, it was always difficult if one's mother suddenly passed away.

What Ajit didn't know was "playing truant" was an important topic of discussion at Asansol AG Church, the teachers spent considerable time explaining the concept, teaching the students that Americans referred to truancy as "playing hooky", even though hardly anyone "played hooky" at Asansol AG Church, it was a girls' school, where would they go?

Thus, there was a Washington DC crisis around 1946-47, important both to Ajit and Asansol AG Church but not to Anjali. Ajit felt the "balance of power" had shifted in DC after the atoms bombs were dropped on Japanese cities, and that politics of atomic weaponry, even within the Truman administration, allowed Ajit to grow up educated, go to Kolkata, make Pratibha's case ('Austrian neutrality', FACSIMILE blogpost, Dec 11, 2025).

If the crisis was around 1946-47, why did Kolkata create such excitement about Burgess-Maclean, whose purported visit was not till the early 1950s?

ii. Let's assume the balance of power shifted after the use of atomic weapons against Japan in WWII. Who'd be powerful enough to advise, even insist, against Harry Truman's protestations?

Everyone would say it was financiers and bankers but Asansol AG Church didn't even have a bookstore on its premises, you couldn't urgently buy one if you forgot to bring the textbook, you'd have to suffer the punishment, stand outside the classroom for 40 minutes, the duration of the class, such that the student felt humiliated. It never happened to Antara, though she packed her schoolbag in the morning. Her esteemed former classmates packed their schoolbags the previous evening, with either or both parents' assisting.

"Don't pack your schoolbag the previous evening, you'd get fever," Anjali would say, the implications were self-explanatory, it always held true. Thus, Asansol AG Church might have believed that there were no financiers within Washington DC, everyone had to bring their own.

Ajit's version was even better. It was the 1990s, Antara was going home from Brabourne (Kolkata) for the vacations, accompanied by her father, the taxi had stopped at the traffic intersection. A young man came up and stood next to the front passenger's seat, where Ajit was seated, and said, "I have to buy books for my studies, please donate."

"I've been there, where you were, you can study without buying books," Ajit had replied. So the balance of power that might have shifted after the atom bombs were dropped didn't involve financiers, or so Ajit had understood.

This was not a mystery novel. The balance of power within Washington DC shifted to Hollywood, we've been watching a particularly long movie, for almost a century. Many of the Israeli leaders and military generals were close to Hollywood, it helped them manage their interests within Washington DC.

When European bankers (not Italy) were familiar with the stances of Israeli leaders towards the legit lease, Europe fared well in global affairs. When Israel threw up unfamiliar govts, then European bankers seemed inadequate, they would be challenged. 

Since there was no 'European military' per se except Eurocorps, meant to be at the service of the EU and NATO, European bankers didn't have anyone to approach with their problems either. Even Eurocorps was under Spain's command, how would one ever escape Cooch Behar?

iii. One would have to assume that the balance of power shifted within Washington DC because of the Nazi Holocaust, that the demand was that the legit lease should dissociate itself from the Nazi Holocaust narrative. There'd be US Govt institutions researching the Nazi Holocaust, 'disinterested' parties like the Prussians would demand relevant documents, photographs, other archival material, there'd be no US foreign intelligence involved, that women worldwide took a deep interest in WWII should not be forgotten.

The Nazi Holocaust-related books and publications from the 1960s onward met the above criteria, why did such publications significantly decline after 2006? Who lost interest, Hollywood or the Prussians or both? If so, what had changed between 2003 and 2006?

There would be several incidents that provided us a better understanding of the years between 2003 and 2006. In 2004, Antara had been teaching as a guest lecturer at a college in Purulia, at minimal pay. That college had organised an international seminar-conference on the Renaissance, delegates included academics from US universities (Caucasian men) and an elderly female academic from Lodz, Poland. 

Antara was not assigned any duties, she didn't play any part in the organisation of the seminar-conference because she didn't have a desktop computer at home, wasn't that a PC and therefore the Canadian grocery chain? So Austrian intelligence had been outdated ('Austrian neutrality', FACSIMILE blogpost, December 11, 2025), Antara's relevance to the RMS Titanic narrative and staying in Delhi was useful in the mid or late 1990s. 

Once Chetla had descended on the US from 2003 onwards, Antara was not even essential for the Punjabi discourse on the RMS Titanic.

What a pity, a sharp intellect, an informed person like Antara, always beaten by NS Road and Chetla. If any investigation was required, NS Road and Chetla were always ahead of Antara.

The three-day seminar-conference at the college in Purulia ended with the performance of the 'Chhau' dance, a tribal dance form, for the international delegates. It was a winter's evening, there were bonfires on the college lawns, "where were you running off, stay back for the 'Chhau' dance," her senior colleagues called out to her (one of them was called Hazra). 

Antara was in formal attire, wearing a saree was compulsory for the college lecturers, she also had a severe earache, she could barely stand on her feet. She came back home to her parents, took to bed, her parents took turns, sitting by the bedside and providing 'warm compress' to her ears, as Antara cried in agony through the evening. 

"Dancing the 'Chhau' dance for the foreigners, eh, from the US and Poland," Ajit and Anjali had said, "what it did to our girl (Antara)."

Thus, AT's family could be CPM or TMC, it didn't protect them from Hollywood, the latter would send its representatives to Purulia, to see AT dance, as usual Antara would pay the price. (AT's family danced through the last decade, the decade of the torture-surveillance, in case it was not clear.)

Oh, AT was essential for Delhi, its media and publishing honchos liked the concept of European royals but not the individuals who were European royals. "If we understood how they created European royals, we could use Caucasians from the US and Canada. Delhi could have its own western royal lines, there wouldn't be any culture clash whatsoever."

If AT's family was pressured, the Swiss bankers would share information, for it seemed that certain changes had been introduced into European royal lines after WWII, there was stress on university education and ordinary jobs, why were they trying to enmesh with the ordinary people, the bankers would have to provide that information.

iv. The European bankers (not Italy) had always known of the damage that would be caused by the social implication of Paytm, allowing ease of payment across genders.

"The discussions would focus on who had better clothes, whose upkeep was consistent or stylish, it would be forgotten that the New Deal was essentially exclusionist, households across the US coming up with their own little arrangements against BT-Pratibha while those not part of it travelled the railroads, as hobos.

Antara had done her share of extensive railway travel, she should have been part of the hobo world and their descendants (doing quite well) but she married into a railroad family, a second round of 'railroad exclusion' was imposed on her."

When travelling by overnight trains, Antara always took the middle berth and once settled in for the night, she let her arm dangle, so that her father could see it from the lower berth. Ajit should have reached out to that lonely hand, isolated by Austrian neutrality, excluded first by the New Deal and then by railroad in-laws. 

Oh Ajit, why would you err so grievously with what was your own child?

Ajit would cite the usual excuses, how would he allow Antara to connect the Pacific bases to say, any dastardly attack against the US? Antara could provide the excuse, "I've always loathed Pearl Harbour-Hickam, every time I read any journalism on it or watched a movie, all I saw was, 'Come and live in tropical areas, you could wear cotton frocks all the time', what a strange idea to have such massive installations in tropical climes." 

Would it have helped Antara, if she had made it known to Delhi media how she felt about Pearl Harbour-Hickam?

v. Antara should know that foreign students gathered at universities of western countries only for information against Austria. 

If Austria was celebrated, respected, talked of highly even within a few universities, the option left to British aristocrats and German Nazis to provide their arguments, foreign student enrolment would drastically reduce. A certain kind of political thinking had vitiated their minds, these students were not interested in higher learning.

It would make one think that if Ajit ignored Antara from 1984-85 onwards (after the 1983 Ronald Reagan-Bruno Kriesky meeting), if the other girls in the household got prominence, then those girls would be comfortable with Nazi Holocaust publications and get busy connecting Pacific bases to any dastardly attack against the US.

Ajit had trusted these girls, their assignment was now official.

Yes, we were aware that Ajit had made these decisions when the Soviet Union was still around, they were apparently no longer applicable.

But the Chetla arrangement of 1983-84? Between Ronald Reagan and Bruno Kriesky? That was eternal, unconnected to the Cold War or the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Or that was how Hollywood thought.

Austrian neutrality

Antara's paternal grandmother had never visited Kolkata. It was her one wish, she'd tell her son Ajit, "You'd take me to Kolkata when you grew up, wouldn't you?"

Pratibha passed away when Ajit was quite young but it was obvious she had a case, an argument, that as an adult, Ajit would have to make that case to Kolkata. You couldn't teach Kolkata about the establishment of the State of Israel, so it might have been about military academies in the West, we'd have to find out.

Pratibha and Ajit would argue to Kolkata that "don't make a big deal about the Carnegies and the Rockefellers as global financiers, you should see how they treated people who'd undergone a calamity or suffered trauma, as if they couldn't make up their minds whether the wealthy should show sympathy or not. There was no US foreign intelligence in Germany after WWI, shouldn't they have communicated more frequently with the Germans? Just sending a cheque along meant they'd take American money and then go and listen to Adolf Hitler's speeches. It would be difficult for those tycoons to avoid responsibility for the rise of Adolf Hitler."

One had to remember that it was not enough that WWI had ended for Kolkata in 1916, in so far as its residents were concerned, with Emperor Franz Joseph I's death ('Graf/graphs, Ukraine, TMC', FACSIMILE blogpost, December 7, 2025). It was not enough for Kolkata that Pratibha had passed away in 1946, that the above arguments were being made after her death. 

A decade after Pratibha's death, the Suez Crisis of 1956 had shown that while Israel was Kolkata's friend, the British and the French were Israel's friends. Israeli action, say against places like Sharm el-Sheikh, used the cover of the night, so what constituted a 'western alliance' was clearly defined using the Suez Crisis, it was London-Paris-Tel Aviv-Kolkata.  

Egypt got its weaponry from Czechoslovakia, so the position of neutral advisor had been present in Antara's family for quite a while, passing down from Ajit to Antara.

ii. When a government officer like Ajit sent his daughter Antara to a government institution like Brabourne, given that Kolkata had been adequately briefed on the Carnegies and the Rockefellers, it was expected that Brabourne authorities would summon its students, brief them that Antara didn't represent New York, that she was frightfully isolated because of Austrian neutrality during the Cold War, not because of the Nazi Holocaust. 

Nazi Holocaust survivors and the families of victims often received support and encouragement to share their narrative, there was no club/gathering for the victims of Austrian neutrality during the Cold War.

When such a briefing was not provided within Brabourne, what was the 'principal' and where was the 'interest on interest' headed became Kolkata's discourse, then it seemed deliberate, Kolkata didn't want to take forward any discussion or argument, it wanted to get the college students excited.

Thus, Antara would have to remember that it was British intelligence operating in Washington DC that defined BT and Pratibha as victims of the 1942 Wannsee Conference and the 1944 Normandy landings. The Germans had probably used these two events to end the Soviet occupation of Austria in 1955, they became BT and Pratibha's defining traits, regardless of what was important to them.

What Brabourne wanted of Antara gradually became clear when a roommate at her hostel kept using a club soda bottle for drinking water purposes, and later when Antara was sent to live as a paying guest, during her university days, with a family headed by an elderly gentleman called PC Sarkar. As was known to the NRIs, 'PC' was a brand of Canadian grocery products, which included club soda, so Brabourne and Kolkata wanted Antara to remain limited to the RMS Titanic arguments coming out of Canada.

Brabourne and Kolkata didn't want Antara to engage with Austrian neutrality during the Cold War, for that was the domain of the US Navy, that's where Kolkata's women would go, it meant Antara would be taken to Punjab-dominated New Delhi, no further than that.

"Strange, if Antara followed Kolkata's orders to come to New Delhi, why were HT and Chetla flabbergasted? Why did they take away her employment, why didn't they let her step out, why was she turned into a hostage?"

Chetla and HT had got their arguments wrong about Afghanistan. Austria had very much wanted the US military to become part of the Great Game, it would have allowed the Austrian narrative about WWII to be shared, Austria was blackmailed over WWII but never allowed to share its story. It was the timing of the War on Terror, decided by Washington DC, that seemed so suspicious, it was as if Washington DC didn't want Antara to study abroad. 

"She won't have any contact with the US Navy, she wouldn't even pursue higher studies abroad?" The world collapsed around Austria, no one ever recovered from that.

iii. There were certain things Austria could get done, move the iron and steel production facilities to China, so that it bore the responsibility of any major outbreak of war. The other was to introduce Delhi to as many financiers as possible, so that Delhi didn't lack resources (or steel) if it needed to wage modern-day wars. 

Instead, Delhi went with drones and decided to torture Antara. China's steel production capacity was wasted, Antara got altogether destroyed by the torture. What kind of Great Game play was it? One where immigrants were allowed access to US Navy intelligence such that they could assist Australian Navy in attacking the Royal Navy? Where was Afghanistan in any of it? It was pure vengeance.

Anjali could have said that the Prussians had no need for Antara. That the Prussians had solved their own problems and had understood the WWII Austrian narrative as well, without going through financiers. It was an impossible thing to achieve but if Anjali had convinced Kolkata, the arguments had to be substantial. 

Apparently, Austrian WWII narrative was neither about Tagores nor about Ponzi schemes, it was about Yemen! Were they serious in Kolkata and Bengal? It was coming from Washington DC, that was obvious, Yemen was the only problem in the world?

Austria provided scientific advice to Israel, so technology couldn't have produced such rage in Washington DC. Did Washington DC think that Austria was withholding details of scientific conferences held in Europe through the initial decades of the 20th century? Why wasn't Austria formally approached, who began by torturing a young woman for a decade, or keeping her unemployed for 13 years? 

'Civilisational erasure", that was how Washington DC would negotiate scientific knowhow out of Austria? Because Antara was constantly in the grip of Indian trading communities, she had no escape from them?

iv. Antara should know that the events of WWII were an extremely complicated religious attack on Austria, there was no Yemen in any of it. 

Antara would know how to dissociate herself from the propaganda coming out of Washington DC about WWII and the Nazi Holocaust.

The US Congress always scored above the lease family when it came to WWII intelligence, as had been previously discussed ('Why would high-tech aerospace ventures suffer if WWII and the Nazi Holocaust were discussed?' FACSIMILE blog, November 26, 2025).

The White House, on the other hand, knew how to connect WWI to WWII, why US officials always acted against Antara and in favour of the White House, never mind who was occupying it.

The above may have been true of BT and Ajit, was it also true of Antara?

In early 1996, Ajit visited Kolkata for a weekend, Antara was living at Brabourne hostel, a junior college student. Coca Cola had recently introduced its cans in the Indian market, "Let's buy a couple of those Coca Cola cans," Ajit had suggested. Each can was priced at Rs 16.

A few months later, Antara was travelling back from Kolkata with her father, "I'll get us some Coca Cola cans for the train journey," she had said, going to fetch them from a railway station kiosk, each can was priced at Rs 18. "Strange, it cost Rs 2 extra per can, and we were just across the river, or was it because it was a railway station?" Antara had wondered.

The mechanism of canned drinks was not known to her, Antara had raced through the railway platform with the Coca Cola cans, then immediately opened them as she got on the train, a whoosh of the aerated drink erupted on Antara, she sat there drenched in Coca Cola, all the train passengers looking at her.

What if someone deduced from the above that as far as Kolkata was concerned, WWI had ended in 1916, with Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I's death in Nov 1916? If WWI carried on till 1918, it was only because of the railroad tycoons?

Was it adequate intelligence for the US Congress or the White House?

So some of us were at the top of the (Egyptian) pyramid for no reason, it didn't imply better information.

ii. You have to believe that the US Congress found it difficult to categorise Antara. Well, she wasn't a techie, Asansol AG Church had seen to her aspirations of being an engineer.

She couldn't be a strategist for future projects, given the massacre in Ukraine's Babi Yar in 1941, when Ukraine lost its Treasury base, the Jewish population of Kiev. 

That would leave only one option, being a researcher, one who went through past events, including Brabourne. Wasn't that difficult, was it?

Please don't bring up Ajit to try and control the discussion. A few days before he passed away, Ajit had brought home some khichuri/kedgeree 'bhog'/offering from a nearby Puja pandal, offering it to Anjali's photo (Anjali had passed away the previous year). "No one survived in Kiev, all the Jews existed only in photographic albums, they still needed an Aam Aadmi Party, to fight what?"

Certain people attributed the above to an understanding between influential Bengali men of Kolkata and Benito Mussolini, the complexity of the Italian surrender in WWII and if there was an arrangement that Batanagar would always have closer ties with the British, the Americans would have the upper-hand in nuclear matters, and Antara would run around, looking for exceptional information on what happened to Pratibha, instead of Shili-Lokkhi. 

Oh dear, there went the US State Dept towards irrelevance, all over again. Surely not Pratibha, that would mean the Middle East?

iii. One could visualise the members of the US Congress, confronted, challenged, enraged.

"Do we bring up the fact that we modified DoJ regulations to make the Alamo Girl a part of the US Govt, at least since 2011?"

"No, then it would bring up Aadhaar and US officials holding back approval, that we kept the playing field unequal, that Americans were afraid of competition."

"But focusing on Pratibha's demise and the Middle East meant the focus might shift to Chetla?"

Ahha! Antara had invoked the 'five giants' of Washington DC, she had known from 2003 onwards that NFL and what it knew of the American Civil Rights movement was insurance against the lease family.

"We built up and expanded Silicon Valley, took it to such heights, based on NFL, we could have given her Aadhaar approval years ago."

We needed to be careful, the argument was moving away from the real surname of the lease family or why it was skilled and good quality but wasn't publicised well to what arrangements Bengali men of Kolkata had with Mussolini and British intelligence.

It was not a discourse present in any part of the world, not described as a blackmail, what purposes were being served within Italy by encouraging such a crisis around Aadhaar?

iv. We've finally understood the purpose of any Putin visit.

If the Russians claimed that the lease family had the option of moving to Rishon LeZion in Palestine (modern-day Israel), a town founded by Russian Jewish immigrants in the early 1880s, the Jews of Kiev would not be able to defend themselves or explain any trickery/falsity around Rishon LeZion, whether the Russian Jews had been trustworthy or not, the Jews of Kiev had died in the Babi Yar massacre. 

That was Putin's gamble in invading Ukraine in Feb 2022, we've finally found our answer.

Others might point out that between Moscow and Washington DC, the identities of the Nazi Holocaust planners, masterminds, perpetrators, were known, it was Asansol AG Church which had sent a different kind of alert.

"Most students exhausted themselves running around and playing during lunch hour, only Antara and her best friend in school avoided those exertions. They were ridiculed, yet they stayed close to each other, walked around in circles round the school, talking to each other."

Antara could speak for herself, she didn't have the physical capacity for such strenuous exertions. How did it turn into a crisis for Washington DC? Antara never complained that most of the students seemed uninterested in academics and yet kept joining such a school, known for its rigorous standards?

Thereby, it was likely that Washington DC's adversary was Hermann Goering, with his knowledge of the CPM Politburo and Indian royals, that those who had hinted that "Bengaluru had something you'd need" had the best understanding of the Ukraine War, they had said so in Feb 2022 itself. 

Whether Antara would accept such information was another matter, she might not do so, given what she underwent in the torture-surveillance, how certain students of the Class of 1995 were threatened, from 2021 onwards, how the price was exacted on Antara. 

v. Why wouldn't Antara use Bengaluru's information? It was because their ancestors had apparently been aware of Graf Alfred von Schlieffen, chief of the Imperial German General Staff from 1891 to 1906, known for the 'Schlieffen Plan'. 

It had come up during a high school Physics class involving graphs, "you copy from each other" (Bengaluru and Antara), an impossible accusation, Antara did her Physics homework at home, including the graphs, she never used anyone else's help nor assistance, not even a private tutor.  

If both Antara and Bengaluru had been twice defeated by the US military, they shouldn't collaborate and share information, what if Hegseth retaliated?

Antara had cousins on her father's side as well. They hardly ever ate the Indian meals prepared at home when they were children. They got up in the morning, went out to buy packets of biscuits, chocolate slabs, soft drinks, they ate some of it, when they felt full, they trampled on the rest. Antara would gaze in wonder, "I waited round the year for a Dairy Milk slab for my birthday, look at them dancing on a half-eaten Dairy Milk, kicking it around with their feet".

Everyone joined Trinamool Congress/TMC in the end, it didn't make their early lives redundant.

Federal Reserve, Wales

The maximum financial grant/funding Antara might get for her Nazi Holocaust research would depend on US universities and institutes, museums and art galleries, whether they approved her work or agreed to support it.

"This was Kolkata, didn't allow the torture to stop, was already ahead in preventing any funding efforts."

Antara had always been advised that universities and institutes, art galleries and museums, needed information on a single topic: Chetla. 

"They know quite a bit about the Nazi Holocaust, it was Chetla that was disrupting their work."

Antara would neither need their approval nor their funds.

"Everyone was saying her surname was Shome, that the Wales-based Indian royals were just not willing to divulge it. The intrigue had been following Antara since the 1994 Rotary Club quiz contest, when a participant called Shome got Cardiff correct."

Was it about Rose Girone, the Austro-Hungarian Holocaust survivor who passed away earlier in 2025, at 113 years of age?  How would the EU diplomats react to it, that Rose Girone's death might have implications for Federica Mogherini's arrest and interrogation?

People should have come together to make sure Antara got her Aadhaar.

Through Mogherini's arrest, we were being reminded of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Ukraine, Hitler, railroad tycoons, so it was a reminder of the Nazi Holocaust. Let's say Trump thought Hitler was responsible and that was it. 

The Bidens were fond of Bengalis, Trump was close to British aristocracy, the Obamas were friends with Kolkata's high schools, the White House did show a certain kind of bias towards Kolkata. Were the Silicon Valley tech honchos saying that no one had a right to any opinion unless it agreed with the White House?

Antara had found out that Mumbai law firms were worried that if the blogs were expanded, if the parents' version of Cold War events became included as well. How would that happen as long as there was a Kurdistan and its loyalists in the US?

In any case, the parents had apparently suffered from upheavals within the US Navy after the Chinese aggression of 1962 against India. Other Indians were affected as well, Mumbai didn't know, everyone managed to lead quiet lives.

Antara's parents wouldn't have solved allusions either, they were not ostracised, people would rush to their household, asking pointed questions about Lenin and following it up with discussions of the municipal water supply. (The latter apparently indicated how the White House managed the Pentagon on a daily basis, with its Kolkata-centric views.)

"Your parents' generation was destroyed by Edith Foster Dulles, they had few choices. The harshness among western officials for their failures vis-a-vis Donald Trump couldn't be solved by constantly attacking your parents."

It was possible Mumbai wanted to take advantage of the resurgent Communism within the Federal Reserve, "all that quantitative easing might mean investigating Ajit-Anjali, while the Kurdistan-loyalists held their sway. It would let them harass Antara and her relatives, in ways that was not possible even in CPM-dominated Bengal."

Strange, they didn't want Trump to start those investigations. Trump the peacemaker, who thought he deserved several Nobel Peace Prizes. Indian Communists went to the Federal Reserve, maybe they felt more comfortable with it than with the White House.

Antara had hardly an option left but to request an official investigation of Oct 16, 2009, of the alumni meet/gala at Asansol AG Church that evening. (Anjali had her accident that evening, she passed away the next day.)

"You've neither been prepped for tether/aerostat balloons nor the Aggarwals of Wales, how would you survive Delhi?"

In Trump-time

There were two approaches to those like Chetla that had passed through India, Antara was advised.

They had befriended officials during their 25 years of stay in the US, they'd have a distorted notion of who you were, because the US officials were products of the Reagan-Kriesky meeting of 1983, they had never followed up on any investigation against Pakistan, they were never sure how Hollywood would react.

Either you'd have to delve deep into why Chetla took an interest in books you had read or TV shows you had watched (information out of context, merely to ridicule), or you considered her as someone who had wandered into India and wandered away as well.

The above was supposed to help Antara's stance on Ukraine, a topic on which Antara had never asked for advice or assistance.

The lease family had wandered through Ukraine, its past was of no consequence, its future in India was what the lease family was about. "It would help you if you visited Kolkata again, because Chetla's past was also of no consequence, it was as an American strategist-socialite that we were familiar with her."

ii. It was not correct to show disregard for airline tragedies but what kind of officials planned their intelligence projects around people's lives? Was Antara supposed to have felt insulted at the recent Airbus recall for modifications? Her spouse admired Airbus, and then the recall? 

Airbus's wingspan (one of the highest) made its climb-rate efficient, it increased weight but also drag, then why had Antara been told early on, "With that (historical) baggage, no one else...etc." Did Airbus want to discuss the drag?

Given the sheer number of notifications Antara received from Middle East aviation publications, it seemed Saudi or UAE officials made such decisions. They'd probably say they were imposed upon by the Obamas.

The Obamas had been particularly active with the high schools of Kolkata and their alumni. It was probably a phenomenon that was missed, why Donald Trump's political career took everyone by surprise. After several rounds of meetings, discussions etc between the Obamas and Kolkata schools, it was decided that the "Ukraine situation was not quite clear, what role Ukraine would play in the lease till the Agency altogether shut down its daily ops".

The Agency complied, that was 2017. The Agency complied knowing how Kolkata and its Tagores had felt about the United States having a foreign intelligence agency. Such easy victories within the US would make the world violent and anxiety-prone.

iii. The intended readership of the blogs was now becoming clear. Certain officials in the Middle East had advised Kolkata-based media companies that "Antara was not as savvy a journalist as the Times Group ones, she was lagging at HT." Antara argued for a decade about the HT working situation. When it didn't yield any results, the blogs were allowed, they were supposed to find out if the Middle East officials received negative feedback from Antara's parents, so accurate that it didn't allow her a chance to improve her personality, to grow.

We were moving into complicated matters now. Accurate information meant ability to influence wars, maybe in the early 1990s. A decade later, by 2002-03, Indian tycoons in Mumbai started discussing the benefits of philanthropy. A certain kind of financial system was bound to emerge, first FDI, then SOFR.

For example, almost everyone (except Antara) knew of Indian royals based in Wales, those who attacked Austria or held back the Austrian narrative from Antara. The steelworks of Asansol-Burnpur kept in touch with the steelworks of Wales, that's how Indian royal gossip was exchanged. Antara's parents knew that when she grew up and wrote about her hometown, she'd mention the steelworks, it would activate the Wales-based Indian royals against her.

Did Antara's parents consider who'd defend Antara from the Wales-based Indian royals? 

The Middle East officials would be providing the answer next time they sent Netanyahu for a visit to Washington DC, already five times this year.

iv. To Netanyahu, Washington DC would reply, "Antara had three starting points for researching the Nazi Holocaust. She could start with the 1790 lease, which was meant to test the early settlers, who was anti-Semitic and who wasn't."

At "early settlers" and "anti-Semitic", Netanyahu would hastily depart, it was unlikely he'd be back anytime soon.

We were not being deliberately provocative. Till you had understood the Nazi Holocaust, you would have to hold back the pride in early migration to Palestine or even being born there. It was disturbing if Israeli politicians discussed Israel-Palestine as a futuristic hub without realising what it meant for the Jews.

In the last century, no one else from the lease family faced and survived the challenges Antara had faced. At least the lease family always had relatives. 

Antara had been alone since 2014.

I saw a ship a sailing/A sailing on the sea

Antara's junior college years at Brabourne hostel in the mid-1990s was fully Tagore-dominated, so it seemed now, it was a scary experience. 

The above fact was known when she returned to Brabourne hostel as an undergraduate, the hostel matrons remembered Antara didn't eat eggs, "of course we remember", one of them had said, when Antara went to remind them.

"You didn't have enough, you came back?" one of her batchmates from Geography Honours had asked her. What happened during junior college was known. However, these conversations usually took place when the Alamo Girl was not around.

However, Antara had told her parents that Brabourne otherwise had a secure, modern hostel, better than the other hostel facilities in Kolkata. Maybe because it was a government institution? Brabourne's food was a problem but Antara's parents agreed to send her back for undergraduate studies, food could be supplemented. 

However, the focus on New York City that was ever-present during junior college disappeared in the undergraduate years, Antara constantly got rooms that allowed her a view of Muslim households close by, including youth on the verge of radicalisation.

These facts were known to the Alamo Girl, she could put late 1990s and NYC and radical Islam together and understand what it was about. Was she challenging Antara, if Antara had the courage to identify those responsible? Antara had done so in 2024, who planned the 9/11 attacks with such precision. Guess what, she was told that identifying those responsible started her work, it didn't end it.

ii. Antara's instinct for investigation was always there, she didn't discuss it because she had two self-declared "detectives" at home, both females. It was not clear what they "detected" or if it was a parody of something. After several years of allusions work, Antara was certain they got everything wrong, was it deliberate? 

Antara was used to observing things, she kept quiet lest she was insulted, which often happened. Through the undergraduate years at Brabourne, her only concern was, "If they introduced Instrumentation Engineering as a course in India (as reported in the newspapers), why did the high school Physics teacher not let me participate in simple experiments on current electricity?" 

It had influenced Antara's decision to not pursue Science, "for fulcrum, tuning fork and lenses, there was Antara but for current electricity, 'just stand and watch others complete the circuitry'"? You have to keep in mind it might have been connected to the "parody detectives" in Antara's household.

We'd have to go back a bit, mid-1980s to mid-1990s, when Antara's parents lived in Asansol. Antara and her mother often went out in the evenings for local purchases, school supplies or household items that needed replenishing. The sibling never went with them, it bored her to visit stores, so we were not discussing a lease matter or anything connected to 19th century grocery stores in the US. 

While shopping locally, they often bought gifts as well, for birthdays and the nephews/nieces being born, Anjali liked the fully-kitted cosmetics supplies for infants. Her other favourite was a blankie with a pocket for the head to be tucked in. How many times had they bought those items together? 

It seemed like a fully-kitted intelligence apparatus so that a particular shipping family in the US didn't have to use the regular DoD.

Antara and her mother never stopped at the chemists, all pharma was purchased by Antara's father. So Britain was probably not a factor.

iii. Antara would not provide the reasons but it didn't seemed to have anything to do with the metal bullion either. It was about the Tagores, their eastern European plans around Molotov-Ribbentrop. Antara had gone back to that Asansol gift shop in 2008, when she was married and working in Delhi, it should have been clear to the Tagores that Antara was aware of their Molotov-Ribbentrop aspirations. 

But when a mighty entity like the United States Govt encouraged someone like Chetla for decades, she could neither give up Mount Lebanon nor Netaji Bose, everything seemed within grasp with the US Govt apparatus. 

Immediately, the British got involved.

It was possible Chetla knew more about the 1991 Balance of Payments crisis than the rest of us, the Indian ministers of the time were no longer around, so only Washington DC would do the explaining. One visit to the RBI museum in Kolkata would not yield more than what Antara was writing on her blog. She needed her citizenship documents.

If anyone was following the blog, they'd want to know if the entire controversy was about BT and the Allied Commanders being on opposing sides/differing at the end of WWII, the Close Female Relative was already bearing that burden. Why had the Alamo Girl been brought into the picture? We have got the answer, so that the stress on Antara increased to an extent where the British would always remain involved. 

Not everyone at Batanagar (the town) probably felt that the British had treated them well.

iv. The situation was turning out the following way. Antara's junior college days at Brabourne hostel were marked by a frenzy around the merchant marines as few saw in their lives. What the Alamo Girl later saw was nothing. The US Navy was dominated by the Tagores, Antara's allusions work had stated that "the merchant marines took an interest in the activities of Lipstick Building in Manhattan, New York, where Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme had unfolded".

Thus, Chetla was interested in currency matters, we had a college hostel prepped by merchant marines, a Manhattan building known for financial wrongdoing, an intelligence apparatus from the 1980s-90s for a shipping family in the US. 

Where was the US Govt in any of it?

v. Chetla had apparently disliked that HT had focussed on a certain novelist's (Ibis Trilogy) absence from the Jaipur Literature Festival, "it was not HT's business to know such things".

The allusions seemed to indicate that in the absence of the Jews of Poland, if the French Jews could take over the lease was one of the investigations that couldn't be conducted at JLF, because JLF was focussed on conspiring against Austria, it kept Austria important, it had no opportunity to discuss French Jews.

Ukraine, Russia

The power of the legit lease was fading, as per the NRIs and their recently renewed friendship with the Americans.

How would it affect the Agency and govts that tended to depend on it?

No one was supposed to know that Anjali had apparently tried to entrust Antara's care to particular families of Kolkata, she had tried it several times. Each time, Anjali had failed and the legit lease had emerged stronger as a result. 

The lease was about the persecution faced by the Jewish people so if Antara prevailed, the legit lease automatically got stronger. Those who held back her employment and workplace had no idea about the lease.

ii.  Why Washington DC always offered mayoral support to NRIs and their relatives in India was difficult to tell. Were the Americans fascinated that neither the Tagores nor the Russians interfered when extremely crucial administrative decisions were left to political nobodies, such that the US President would have to acknowledge a mayor? Why would the Tagores and the Russians interfere in what was working so well for British intelligence?

Yet British intelligence wouldn't give NRIs their "defining narrative', a narrative where currency info and tech met with global appeal. If we were getting currency info and tech, there was no global appeal. If there was global appeal and currency info, there was no tech (INC). 

It seemed the British were asking, 'We know there was extensive US support for Ajit, tell us what went wrong after that?'

The British were told, "Communist NRIs were claiming that both Washington DC and American intelligence outfits were certain that David KE Bruce, during his stint as US ambassador to Germany in the late 1950s, had finalised the lease between the US Govt and the European Union, as the latter evolved to its present day."

The British were either not part of anything or they were being allowed to proceed with legit lease work, no one was stopping them. 

The British concluded that Disney was trying to convince everyone that what David KE Bruce arranged couldn't be disregarded or ignored. So it was back to Hermann Goering and the CPM Politburo, "how could one student have the task of upholding human morality?" ('Ukraine and CPM', FACSIMILE blogpost, Nov 29, 2025.) Well, what were the other students being accused of?

David KE Bruce was US ambassador to West Germany from March 1957 to October 1959. He was ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1961 to 1969. What were the chances that in those eight years of diplomacy in the United Kingdom, David KE Bruce had not extensively discussed the lease with British banks? Those discussions yielded no way out but the outright denial of a genocide?

There was only one explanation. David KE Bruce's side provided one version to Haripada in 1959, Haripada passed away in 1962, he never met his son-in-law Ajit. Ajit spent the entire decade of the 1960s in Kolkata, being all Linlithgow Communist, and what he knew was not what Haripada knew. 

Haripada and NS Road had one version and Ajit another version, how would they reconcile it?

iii. British politicians decided that most of the above discrepancies could be explained by the conduct of the Austrian Govt and its Chancellors. Whenever Antara had achieved some distinction for herself or was on the cusp of a change in her life, some uplift, the Austrian Govt released unfavourable intelligence on the lease family in Ukraine.

"It would explain why Ajit was never at the receiving end of such behaviour as Antara was facing. The intrigues aboard the RMS Titanic showed that Indian women had a vastly different notion of intelligence than governments or official agencies. Indian women wanted to elevate themselves to royal status, their battle with Antara would be of an apocalyptic nature. It should have been the topic of worldwide discussions that Washington DC would move away from the entire matter at the last moment, Antara would be facing the UPI fury on her own."

What brought this about? Were Indian women fearful that if Antara left India, she'd never be able to appreciate how quickly and efficiently everyone could become regal? Did they require some political/Constitutional protection if royal privileges were allowed again (otherwise royal ranks and titles were prohibited in India). 

Or did they require a particular financial discourse, if Antara ever managed to research the Nazi Holocaust, if she came up with accusations, the DoJ would reply that she was attacking a particular digital financial system, that her professional tragedy (not allowed employment for long in prominent publications) had prejudiced her against low-grade fintech like UPI?

These were military arguments, how would Antara know what kind of payment challenges the US military or its contractors faced in Iraq between 2003-2008, if they got more value for less, what the Alamo Girl had wanted?

iv. The above simplified matters altogether. Deutch and other Agency honchos urged Russia to invade, let Russia prevail for four years of ceaseless war against Ukraine, and would let Russia prevail with the ceasefire, with enough possibilities for further annexation.

If Russia constantly had an upper-hand against Ukraine, if the Austrian Govt kept releasing anti-lease family information, if Washington DC remained distant and then moved away, Antara would be altogether defeated.

Only Deutch and Chetla were needed to defeat Antara, no one else was involved in this bizarre show of aggression.

That's how Britain was to be conquered, through Greece in WWI and the anti-German Eliftherios Venizelos? Why did the British fight WWI at all?

We'd have to assume that NS Road and Ajit had secured commitment from financiers, these financiers would have demands about how far the Nazi Holocaust research would proceed, Kolkata's demand would be that there could never be any confirmation of Antara's narrative. If the PMCs grew in strength within Russia, Deutch would probably be the only Russian left.

v. How could this be reality?

A group of girls convinced Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait and changed the world in 1990-91.

The same group, as young women, controlled the Iraqi insurgency from 2004 to 2008 and changed the Middle East.

That group would now be using Iraq as a base to control Europe?

Let the US Congress start discussing the Adolf Hitler blackmails, else the legit lease would leave the United States.
